These are the rules on which you have to follow to not get banned, warned, or anyother thing that you wish for not to happen. All these rules are typed clearly. If you do not understand these rules then you will contact me or a moderator. If you wish not to follow any of these rules, then don't even bother signing up or posting. That would be a waste of both of our times, and wasting this community. I cannot stress these enough, no more than these.

1. First rule, NO SPAMMING, First spam will result in a 5 day ban, continuation of spamming will result in permanant ban. You all know what spamming is, if you don't I will explain here. Spamming is when you go to post and just say something around this, "I agree" or "Yea, totally", or something among those lines. I cannot tolerate this at all, but if your new or you just do it a couple times, I won't do anything to you. Only repeated spamming will result in some sort of ban.

2. Second of all, No racial slurs or words, this results in a 2 week ban, religious will be 12 days. Second offense in Perma Ban. This rule also includes flaming, or mocking/ talking offensively to another member or someone else not from this community. Flaming is indecent, and unnessecary. If you wish to flame, go somewhere else. For as I will not tolerate you flaming mine or someone elses members.

3. Thirdly, no getting off topic. This is one thing where I won't give you ban or anything, I just don't want it to happen often. It will eventually happen but it happens everywhere, and that cannot be denied. Now, if you do this intentionally or often, I will warn you, do it again, and a ban is in order.

4. For the 4th rule, Content Management. I would like this site to be a decent, organized, and enjoyable place to be. I would like no sexist, racial, religious, etc. too be talked about throughout my forum. Religious is different however, you can say your religion and be proud, but I will not allow anyone to make fun, or flame, your religion. I also would like not for any Inappropriate Language or Media. All of this includes no Pity topics, posts, or saying what you are going to do to yourself. You can make a blog but if you really are wanting sympathy or some attention by saying you are going to or did do something to yourself, don't post here. I would like your topics and posts to go in the right spots, such as putting your site advertisement in the Website Hall, or posting an introduction from yourself to others In the Holes.

First Joining Steps.

Step Number 1. Sign up or Registering: To register, look at the top right spot on this site's screen. There should be a Register button. Click it. The steps from there will show you the rest.

Step Number 2. Introducing yourself: I would like you to, after you register, post in the In the Holes forum. This gives you a chance to show yourselves to the rest of the community and for you to get to know them, and vise versa.

Step Number 3. Posting: If you want to get started posting and you've already posted In the Holes, post in topics you like or enjoy. On The Silver Ocarina, there are forums where you can pick just about anything and have and interest in. Such as the Stock Pot Inn, where there is some spamming, where rule #1 doesn't apply. Make your post's logical though, it's a place to cut back and relax.

Short Faq/Information.

Besides the fact that there already is a built-in Faq, it doesn't cover everything that you need or want to know here. So this is what this section is about.

The Faq doesn't talk about inserting hyperlinks, though it can easily be figured out. If you want to insert a hyperlinke, or a url, just type it in starting with www or a starting up search engine. I will post one right now to show as an example: www.thesilverocarina.freeforums.org . Notice how that gets underlined. I typed that in using www at the beggining, showing it as a hyperlink. The same thing goes for images, only you can type or click the button on top of the posting box, which will show this [img]. If you want to insert an image from your computer, I suggest getting a Photobucket account at www.photobucket.com .

That is about it on which the regular Faq doesn't cover. If anymore questions are needed to be answered, please notify me or one of the mods.

Complaints and Rights

Complaining: Normally, I don't like complaints, especially if your complaint is just saying " I want a lock on this topic " or somewhere among that phrase. I normally allow it, but if you just do it, and I see no apparent reason, I will inform you. And if you look, there is a complaint button atop every post you will see, if there is truly something to complain about, post that complaint in the "Complaint" button. If you still can't find it, put your mouse over a button on the top right of a post and you will see it says Complaint over the button in a yellow box below your mouse.

Your Rights: As a member, I appreciate you supporting my site. I would like to lay down some rights you have as a member here. Those being: You have the right to talk about anything you want, as long as it doesn't infringe rules. You have the protection knowing that anyone who treats you unfairly, they will get punished. You have the right to engage in a conversation without being judged. Those are only a few of the many.

Last Words

In my final words, I would like to explain the PM system. The PM system is between you and anyone else that you send or receive to/from. If I find that you are someone else is abusing that, it will be taken away as a privelage. The PM system is something that you use for personal messaging that you would like no one else to see or look at, unless you want them too Razz

Have Fun This is a humor site, a place to have fun and meet other people. I will get rid of anything offensive or hurtful to make this a better place, no matter what. Posting, fun, and others are what is important here.
